Biological activity:

Berbamine (BA, BBM) dihydrochloride is a bisbenzylisoquinoline natural product isolated from the Chinese herbal medicine Huanglu. It is a new inhibitor of bcr/abl, has effective anti-leukemia activity, and is an inhibitor of NF-κB. Berbamine (BA, BBM) dihydrochloride inhibits the growth of cancer cells and induces apoptosis in human myeloma cells by targeting Ca²⁺/calmodulin-dependent proteinkinaseII (CaMKII).

Chemical Properties:

White crystalline powder, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from coptis root and barberry root (three needles).

Use:

Berbamine hydrochloride has the effects of enhancing the body's immunity, anti-tuberculosis, dilating blood vessels, and resisting myocardial hypoxia and ischemia.
